The main reasons we decided to homeschool are:
-Personalized Education- The ability to choose what curriculum to use and how quickly or slowly to use it.
- Lack of Christian School nearby- Public school was never an option for us. The Christian school we were looking into sending the kids is just too far away.
Bonus reason to homeschool is:
Flexability! We can travel whenever we want. As long as we have school for the required number of days we can "do school" whenever we want. Currently we are choosing to do a modified year round schedule. For the 2012-2013 school year we are choosing to start our year in July and end it at the end of April. We will take several breaks throughout the year.
